Former Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams is on his way to the CFL after a pair of unsuccessful tryouts with Seattle and Washington. Adams was not selected in last month’s NFL Draft and has received no other tryout offers with NFL teams.
Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk reported that Adams is hoping teams will stop looking at his size and give him a chance.
TSN reports that the B.C. Lions have invited Adams to camp, where he will compete for the 3rd string QB spot.
