Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich met with the media today and talked about the topic on every Oregon fan’s mind: injuries.
First the good news for fans: Helfrich said Royce Freeman practiced in full today and looked good. Freeman was seen leaving practice today in full pads and no brace. Yesterday running backs coach Gary Campbell called Freeman day-to-day, which can mean a lot of things with the Ducks, but in this case it seems like good news.

Especially when you factor in the losses of wideout Devon Allen, who was lost for the season with his second ACL injury, and left tackle Tyrell Crosby, whose foot injury will keep him sidelined the rest of the year as well.
Helfrich said he wasn’t sure if the injury meant the end to Allen’s football career at Oregon. Allen, of course, finished 5th in the 110m hurdles at the Olympics in Rio and previously said he is likely to go professional in track this year. Though that will be hampered by this injury.
