Chip Kelly is entering his first offseason as Head Coach of the San Francisco 49ers, and the early word out of the 49ers team training facilities in Santa Clara is that Kelly’s offense is already gaining lots of praise. After two succesful seasons with the Eagles, the doubts over how Kelly’s offense would do in the NFL went away. The Eagles were top five in the NFL in many offensive categories before a big drop off in his third season in charge in Philly.
It’s still early in the offseason for the Niners, Coach Kelly has yet to speak on what he thinks of his new teams progress learning his fast paced offense. More will be seen of what the players have learned when OTA’s begin for the San Francisco Niners on May 17th.
