Steve Angeli, who was part of Notre Dame’s quarterback competition this spring, is entering the transfer portal, several outlets reported Thursday.Angeli was up against CJ Carr and Kenny Minchey in a three-way battle this spring.As the backup to Riley Leonard last year, Angeli got into 11 games and completed 24 of 36 passes for 268 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions.The former four-star prospect out of New Jersey has thrown for 772 yards, 10 touchdowns and one interception while completing 72.5 percent of his passes (58 of 80) for his career.
